At The Cabinet Maker, you don't sell a product.
You design solutions that become part of someone's interior for years.
As a showroom consultant, you guide homeowners from initial idea to final design. You think along, ask critical questions, translate wishes into a logical design and make sure it is technically correct. From made-to-measure cupboard to floor or smart combination.
This is a commercial role with substance. With responsibility. And with scope to really make a difference.
You are the face of our more than 600 m² showroom in Heerhugowaard. Here we welcome customers who consciously choose quality, customisation and personal assistance.
What you do concretely:
- Advising on bespoke cabinets, flooring and smart layouts
- Translating customer requirements into a well-thought-out 3D design
- Preparation and follow-up of offers
- Independently supervising the entire sales process
- Coordinating with mechanics, suppliers and colleagues
- Ensuring that design, planning and execution fit together logically
You are not selling “a closet”.
You design a solution that brings peace to a home.
We are looking for an experienced interior design consultant. Someone who is used to working with serious clients and understands the difference between standard sales and bespoke advice.
You bring:
- Experience in showroom sales or interior consulting
(kitchens, bathrooms, flooring or customised interiors) - A commercial attitude with an eye for long-term relationships
- Sense of layout, design and material choices
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Availability for 30-37.5 hours per week, including Saturdays
- Experience with SketchUp is a plus. We are happy to teach you our design system.
- Even more important than software knowledge: you can listen, structure and explain choices clearly.
